what to expect

How should I dress? Come casual. Most folks wear jeans, a pair of khakis, or business casual; whatever you're most comfortable in.

What about my children? Your children will have a blast in our exciting kids' programs designed just for them! (Guests repeatedly tell us their children loved their experience and can't wait to return!) When you arrive, our welcome team will help guide you to Treasure Cove (for infants thru K) or Kids' Cove (for 1st-5th Graders). Or if you prefer, you are welcome to keep your children with you in the main worship service as long as they are not a distraction.

What about my teenager?  If you have a Jr. High Student, we encourage you to attend our 2nd service at 11:15 am, so your Jr. High student (6th - 8th grade) can attend FUSION!  In FUSION, Jr. High students learn how to live for God through worship, Bible-teaching and a whole lot of fun!  If your teenager is in High School, we encourage that student to enjoy service with you, and then check-out Inside Out (9th - 12th graders), which meets every Sunday night in an area home.

What kind of church is BACC? We are a healthy, vibrant and growing Christ-centered church. We seek to be a church empowered by God's Spirit and built on God's Word. Everything we do and teach is based solely on the Bible and the person of Jesus Christ. On Sundays, you'll enjoy an excellent inspirational, contemporary praise and worship experience. Our worship is dynamic, engaging and authentic! And you'll receive solid, Bible-based teaching to help you grow in your faith journey. Throughout the week, we are also a church of small groups (called LifeGroups) which meet regularly in homes and restaurants to form lasting relationships and to study the Bible together.

How long is the worship service and what is it like? The worship services typically last about 75 minutes. We begin with a time of inspiring, upbeat worship music led by our band. Over and over, guests tell us this part of the service helps them authentically connect with God. You are encouraged to particpate and express your worship as you feel comfortable. Most people sing and clap along; others might lift their hands humbly in worship; some might simply listen and reflect quietly. We invite you to be who you are and to seek God with authenticity and sincerity.

What about the teaching?
After a brief time of greeting, you'll experience solid, engaging teaching from the Bible by Pastor Steven Yoes. You'll find him to be relevant, authentic, and passionate about helping you to understand how the Bible applies to your life today.

We don't water Scipture down . . . we humbly teach it with conviction and straightforward simplicity; so whether you're just tearing the plastic wrap off your first Bible, or whether you've read it cover to cover, you can grow deeply and be challenged in your faith journey.

Will anyone point me out or embarrass me? No. You won't be singled-out or asked to do anything that will make you feel uncomfortable. We'll greet you warmly, help you find your way around, and answer any questions you might have. A simple guest form is available to give us a brief record of your visit if you choose. Guests are specifically asked to feel no obligation to give money.
