Steven Yoes, Senior Pastor

Steven and his wife Maya married in 1995 and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters. They are no strangers to the real-life issues that often confront families and singles today. Steven's passion is helping to point real people to God, no matter how close or distant they may feel from Him. As Steven often likes to say of our church, there are "no perfect people allowed". The founding pastor of Bay Area Community Church, Steven has been in ministry for more than 15 years. He completed his Masters in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary, and also holds a degree in Christianity and Music. Steven is a passionate and highly gifted teacher and communicator of the Bible, and is known for his musical gifting in leading dynamic praise and worship as well. |
Prior to launching Bay Area Community Church, Steven served at a number of influential churches, and was the co-producer for the internationally renown Pastor's Update Audio Series, hosting such dynamic speakers as John Ortberg, Jack Hayford, and John Maxwell.
